We have plenty to keep you occupied here at Porth Farm this year, with our most notable being our table-top Pick Your Own strawberries – these are housed in a series of polytunnels with the luscious fruits at an easy to pick waist height.
This is alongside our other soft fruits, sunflowers, meadow flowers, vegetables and pumpkins!
Open during seasonal points in the year. We also have a woodland wander, natural playground and our quaint cabin cafe with fabulous views and much more.
We take pride in working closely with other local businesses to make your experience more enjoyable and to help support the local community and businesses.
We’ve held ‘Party At The Porth’ annually (a charitable event), Santa’s Christmas Grotto, Wreath Workshop and Pick and Carve your own pumpkins. No matter the time of year, we have plenty to keep you busy!

Pick your own
Pumpkins
Due to a poor growing season pumpkin picking was closed last year.
But we decided to hold a free ‘schools and charities’ event to come along on 16th, 17th and 18th October 2023 to take what they can from the pumpkin patch. They made full use of the last blooms in the sunflower and meadow fields, explored the maize maze and woodland wander. There are some great photos on Facebook please have a look.

We had stunning displays last year and hope to have the same for this year starting off with the tulips as they appear in the spring.
2024 will have the same astounding views of the Welsh countryside and there will be more to do! Explore the maize maze and admire the views from the watchtower! Adventure through our Woodland Wander, run wild in the playground before stopping of at the café for some delicious homemade cakes and ice cream (from Dairy Dreams) with vegan, dairy free and gluten free options available.

Porth Farm showcases the wonderful views Wales has to offer; Whether you’re sat down for a cup of tea at our quaint café, exploring our sunflower and meadow flower fields, taking a stroll down to our Pumpkin Patch or getting waylaid in the Woodland Wander. Overlooking the nearby village of Caersws, the views are fantastic – no matter the weather!

Open during our sunflower season until the start of the autumn, our maize mazes are the perfect adventure whether you’re on your own or with friends! Explore the expanse of our two maize mazes and discover the wonderful views the Welsh countryside has to offer at the watchtower.

Wreath Making Workshop We had great fun making wreaths with Hollies Floral Designs to take home – a few glasses of mulled wine added to the Christmas cheer.
